July 2026 Update
Since the last update in December 2025, ECOfluid has been awarded the following contracts for the supply of equipment, components, and services related to wastewater treatment facilities:
ECOfluid is pleased to announce that we have been contracted to design and supply the wastewater plant expansion for the Nanoose First Nation on Vancouver Island. ECOfluid designed the original USBF plant in 2005 and has been operating it since it was commissioned. This wastewater treatment plant expansion will allow for the Nation to build additional commercial and residential assets and expand their economic base.
ECOfluid has been contracted to design and supply a small wastewater treatment plant for a commercial property in Popkum. This plant will utilize ECOfluid’s Upflow Sludge Blanket Filtration (USBF) technology. Like similar ECOfluid USBF plants in the area, this plant will meet the requirements of the BC Ministry of Health Type 3 regulations, with low operations and maintenance requirements.
